Cancellation and refund policy

Etna Unlimited is committed to ensuring a seamless and transparent booking experience. This cancellation and refund policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling a booked service and refunding the deposit or advance paid.

Cancellation terms:

• To receive a full refund of the deposit, the cancellation request must be sent via email to info@etnaunlimited.com within 24/48 hours (or as specified in the tab for each service) before the start of the service itself.
• Cancellation requests received after the established deadlines will result in the loss of 100% of the deposit or advance paid.

Example:

• If the service is scheduled for Saturday, the cancellation request with full refund must be received by midnight on the previous Thursday.
• If the cancellation request is received after midnight on Thursday, the deposit will be non-refundable.

Exceptions:

In the event of force majeure events (e.g. natural disasters, serious health problems), Etna Unlimited reserves the right to evaluate the request for refund of the deposit, even if received after the established deadlines.

Refunds:

• Deposit refunds will be issued within 14 days of the date of receipt of your cancellation request.
• Refunds will be made to the same payment method used for the deposit.

Services affected by weather conditions or volcanic activity:

Excursions and activities on Etna may be subject to changes or cancellations due to adverse weather conditions or volcanic activity. The safety of our customers is our priority.

In case of foreseeable bad weather:

• We will propose an alternative date to carry out the activity, compatible with your availability.
• If an alternative date cannot be found, you will receive a full refund of the advance paid.

In case of cancellation due to force majeure:

• We will refund you the full amount of the advance paid.
